Come shop the largest selection of garden conifers in Central Iowa! In addition, you will find rare and unusual companion plants, trees, troughs, and rock garden plants.

Please click on the tabs above to view our 2013 inventory. There you will find detailed descriptions of the itmes we carry. Our inventory ranges from 4" pots to balled and burlapped trees. From time to time, we may also have items not inventoried on this site. So, please come and see us!

If at any time you are looking for something in particular, please do not hesitate to call. We begin ordering the beginning of summer for the following year. If we do not stock it, we will order it for you (providing it is available).

Garden conifers offer texture not afforded by perennials and shrubs. Use them as focal points or to hide unwanted views. All sizes, all shapes, all colors!

The American conifer society categorizes conifers as follows:

     · Miniature: Grows < 1" per year

     · Dwarf: Grows 1-6" per year

     · Intermediate: 6-12" per year

     · Large: Grows > 12" per year

Large or small, we have them all!

Please understand this is a "home-based" business. Quite often I am in the backyard or on the "north end" of the property. So, if you do not see anyone at first, you may ring the doorbell or just be patient - I usually discover that you are here.

I do have two young beagles which are TOO friendly! They enjoy greeting my customers...try as I might, they often get there before I do. For this reason, please leave your pets at home and keep children in the car until they are contained.

There may be a few times I have to be absent during designated business hours. If that presents a problem, you may want to call or e-mail before you come, just to be sure I will be here. Thank you in advance for your understanding!
