NEW - Some pictures have been added to the Conifers page. Click on the name of the conifer to view the picture. Conifers that have pictures will be written in dark green and underlined.

EVERGREEN GARDENS is a retail nursery specializing in ornamental evergreens and their garden companions. Today, dwarf conifers is one of the most interesting fields in ornamental horticulture. Ranging from the tiniest of evergreens to small conifers, these diminutive relations of the large evergreens are becoming increasingly popular in landscape work. Where an evergreen is needed but space restricted, there is a dwarf conifer that will fit the bill. We urge you to try some of these varieties, believing you will become as entranced with these little gems as we have. At Evergreen Gardens, you won't find the usual inventory carried by most garden centers, but rather unusual and rare treasures that will add a new dimension to the overall landscape.

Please click on the tabs above to view our 2008 inventory. There you will find detailed descriptions of the items we carry. If at any time you are looking for something in particular, please do not hesitate to call. Orders are sent in the beginning of August for spring shipping. If we do not stock it, we will order it for you (providing it is available).

From time to time, we may also have items not inventoried on this site. So, please come and see us!

NEW FOR 2008: Alpine plants which we hope will provide a new dimension to annual and perennial gardening as well as fill the void for rock gardeners. We have also added troughs which may be purchased planted or unplanted. And finally, pottery - vases which will add a different texture and shape to the garden landscape.

BUSINESS HOURS: Tuesday through Friday: 1:00 - 6:00; Other times by appointment

Note: Please understand this is a "home-based" business. Quite often I am in the backyard or on the "north end" of the property. So, if you do not see anyone at first, just be patient - I usually discover that you are here. There may be a few times I have to be absent during designated business hours. In such event I will leave a sign in the yard. If that presents a problem, you may want to call or e-mail before you come, just to be sure I will be here. Thank you in advance for your understanding!
